The 7.5-hour Sail & Snorkel Tour To Whitehaven & Chalkies Beach departs Hamilton Island Marina aboard a sailing catamaran, sailing to two of the most photographed Whitsundays locations – Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island and Chalkies Beach on Haslewood Island. Go Snorkelling Off Chalkies Beach
After Whitehaven, the catamaran sails across to the neighbouring Chalkies Beach on Haslewood Island, where the reef begins just metres from the shoreline. It's an ideal place to snorkel, especially if you're giving it a go for the first time. Snorkel equipment, wetsuits, stinger suits and flotation devices are provided and guides are there to assist you in the water. As you drift over colourful coral gardens, you'll spot tropical fish weaving through the reef and, if you're interested, you could even contribute to the ‘Eye on the Reef’ citizen science program by recording marine life sightings.

From Hamilton marina and between beaches you get a taste of the Whitsundays-style sailing experience as you navigate the scenic turquoise waters.
