The 72ft classic timber yacht, ‘Lady Enid’, promises barefoot luxury and an unparalleled service throughout your sailing experience. On arrival, the crew will instruct you where to stow your bags and shoes (best to go barefoot). After settling in, you’ll be briefed about the vessel’s features and safety measures, before sailing out from the Coral Sea Marina.
Feel free to move around the vessel, be all ears to your crew on board as they share fascinating insights into the flora and fauna and history of the Whitsundays. A delicious morning tea will be served once the sails are set.
When late morning beckons, ‘Lady Enid’ will arrive at Tongue Bay on Whitehaven Beach, when you can get down for a moderate bush walk. Follow your guide up the stone step track to the Hill Inlet lookout for some exquisite views of the islands and vast blue lagoon below.
Make use of the free time before lunch to relax on the soft silica sands and shallow aqua waters on one of Australia’s most famous beaches. Enjoy a gourmet lunch featuring a selection of salads, meats and condiments – beer, wine, cider can be purchased from the licensed bar on board.
After lunch, It’s time to step into the waters again, this time for some snorkelling fun. Spend almost 40 minutes at the snorkelling site to explore the incredible variety of corals, schools of fish, and all other vibrant marine life that call the Whitsundays home. Alternatively, if you choose to stay dry, you can relax on board or at the beach and enjoy a cold one.
Enjoy a fruit platter after snorkelling, and on the way back to Airlie Beach, an antipasto will be served alongside a complimentary glass of sparkling wine! Soak up the sun on deck en route home.
