Home To The ‘Big Banana’

Located along the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales (NSW), Coffs Harbour is known for its incredible surf breaks, laid-back coastal vibes, indigenous art and of course, the ‘Big Banana’. What’s really put Coffs Harbour on the map lately is its official certification as NSW’s first ECO Destination! Combine this with other Coffs Harbour activities like swimming with whales, horse-riding at Boambee and guided Indigenous tours, and you'll see why this place is a must-visit.

The ‘ Big Banana’ monument easily catches the eye of any visitors. This yellow, oversized fruit is one of Australia’s ‘Big Things’ and sits next to the award-winning theme park that shares its name. This fun park is a must-do attraction, although there are plenty of other things to do in Coffs Harbour that are worth checking out.

From meeting the curious ‘roos at ‘Look At Me Now Headland’, swimming underneath a secluded waterfall to checking out the eclectic café scenes or simply lazing around on one of NSW’s best beaches, you are spoiled for choice. With proximity to the Pacific Ocean, visitors can also join Coffs Harbour tours to explore the nearby Solitary Islands Marine Park. Check out our dolphin watching and snorkelling experiences if you’re looking for something exhilarating!

So, come discover the Coffs Harbour magic – you’ll be thanking us later!
