2hr Dolphin and Seal Swim Reef Snorkel Tour

4.5 based on all time ratings

Escape the crowds on a fast RIB boat and experience the thrill of swimming and snorkelling with wild dolphins, seals and weedy sea dragons on the Great Southern Reef. Your tour is designed to be non-invasive and ethical – you won't disturb the animals or harm their habitat . It's a unique and respectful way to experience the beauty of these amazing creatures up close.

As the tour departs from Sorrento Pier and takes you along the waters of Port Phillip Bay, keep an eye out for the dolphins frolicking in the waves! Upon reaching the reef, your first snorkel experience is with the weedy seadragons, who have quite the reputation in these parts.

Your guides will brief you on the basics, help you gear up and show you the best spots to see marine life underwater. Moreover, their in-water supervision will give you the confidence to enjoy the experience.

Next, you will head to the Popes Eye Marine Park to swim with the dolphins, exploring the flowing locks of reef, the emerald water, the mossy vegetation and the sparkling sandy bed. Swim up-close with the friendly and intelligent dolphins as they navigate around the reef!

Plunge into the water from the Chinaman’s Hat seal haul-out platform to get a closer look at the cheeky seals displaying their acrobatic skills.
