6HEAD
When: From 26 May
Sydney’s premier steak and seafood joint, is bringing back their multi-sensory dining experience to Vivid Sydney 2023. Overlooking the brilliantly-lit Sydney Harbour, this premium restaurant will embrace the festival theme by transforming the interiors with two unique light-and-sound scapes. One, showcasing the beauty of our true blue seas and golden coasts, and the other paying homage to the lush green forests and bushlands. Choose a custom menu presented by head chef Sean Hall, or dine a la carte and savour the finest of cuisine right under the dazzling projections, inspired by our very own Mother Earth.
Here Now
When: 11 June
Here Now is a one-day only, day-to-night gathering at Macquarie Place Park, celebrating togetherness, abundance, and life, along with incredible food and wine! A collaborative effort by the connoisseurs of Mary’s Underground, and co-curated by Sydney legends Palisa Anderson and Mike Bennie, this mini festival will make use of the iconic venue with a smashing food and drinks program. And along with the unique dining options, there’ll be genre-defining music, live sets, and roaming art performances throughout the venue!
Vivid Residence
When: From 6 June
The introduction of Vivid Food will bring along numerous world-renowned chefs to the Sydney CBD, but perhaps one of the most anticipated appearances is of the New York culinary maestro Daniel Humm. The chef/owner of Eleven Madison Park will take over the kitchen in the iconic Aria Sydney, for a series of exceptional lunches and dinners. Humm’s restaurant made headlines back in 2021 for its extraordinary transition to an entirely plant-based fine diner and will bring this approach to the fine dining at Vivid Residence. He’ll team up with Aria’s Matt Moran to bring a one-off dining experience utilising NSW’s fresh and local ingredients – resulting in a long 9-course dinner menu and a short lunch menu!
