About Mandurah

Crowned Australia’s Top Tourism Town in 2023, Mandurah is one of the country’s best-kept secrets and a spectacular playground for endless water-based activities. Located along Western Australia's sun-drenched coastline and only an hour's drive away from Perth, this laid-back coastal town invites you to experience its incredible way of life by the water.

Time your visit in spring or autumn, when Mandurah's at its most inviting – a perfect blend of warmth and mildness, calling for some outdoor exploration. Glide along the intricate waterways on one of the popular Mandurah river cruises for a unique perspective of the splendid canals and waterfront landmarks.

Keep a close lookout for the resident dolphins, they often approach you out of curiosity! If you’re visiting during the festive season, you can join one of the Mandurah boat cruises to see the famous Christmas Lights adorning the waterfront homes!

But Mandurah isn't just about pretty views and wildlife. Unleash the explorer in you and track down the larger-than-life Giants of Mandurah, an outdoor exhibition of six sculptures made from recycled wood. And, for a dash of culture, swing by the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre for acts that'll make you laugh, cry and be inspired! Don't miss the annual Mandurah Crab Fest in March, a weekend celebration of local seafood that brings the community together in a feast of flavors and festivities.

So, whether you're a day-visitor or planning a longer stay, Mandurah is your go-to for a getaway that's as exciting as it is unexpected. Come for the Mandurah cruises, stay for the crab fest, and leave with memories that'll have you planning your next visit before you've even packed your bags!
