Bruny Island Sights & Wilderness Cruise
Your day begins at Oyster Cove Marina in Kettering, around 45 minutes south of Hobart. From here, your bus boards the ferry for the scenic crossing of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island. Once you arrive, your driver takes you through to Adventure Bay, with guided sightseeing along the way.
At Adventure Bay, you’ll have time to grab morning tea or lunch at your own expense before joining the three-hour wilderness cruise. Step aboard a purpose-built adventure vessel and cruise along South Bruny’s rugged coastline, passing towering sea cliffs, coastal stacks, blowholes and deep marine caves. Keep an eye out for fur seals, seabirds and dolphins as you explore the coastline from the water.
After the cruise, you’ll have another opportunity to enjoy lunch or refreshments at Adventure Bay at your own expense. Then it’s back on the bus for more guided sightseeing in Bruny Island before returning to the ferry.
Cross the D’Entrecasteaux Channel once more with the bus, then arrive back at Kettering, where your day tour ends and you can continue your Tasmanian road trip.
