Hill Inlet Half Day Tour

Your day begins with a scenic cruise across the turquoise waters of the Whitsundays towards one of Queensland’s most iconic natural landmarks, Hill Inlet. As you cruise past secluded islands and sheltered bays and enjoy your morning tea, your skipper shares local insights before arriving at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island.

From here, you will go on a guided bushwalk through pockets of native rainforest to the famous Hill Inlet lookout. Along the way, your guide brings the landscape to life with stories about the islands' history, wildlife and unique ecosystem. At the top, you'll be rewarded with the breathtaking panorama that has made Hill Inlet one of the most photographed locations in Australia, where shifting tides create the ever-changing swirl of brilliant white silica sand and vivid blue water.
After taking in the views, the track continues down to Whitehaven Beach itself. Spend time enjoying pristine shoreline, swimming in the crystal-clear shallows, or simply relaxing on one of the world's most celebrated beaches before rejoining the vessel.

Snorkel Half Day Tour

Back on board, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch as the vessel cruises towards Hook Island, where the second half of your adventure unfolds beneath the water. The experienced crew will select the best snorkelling location for the day's conditions – most often Luncheon Bay or Manta Ray Bay, both known for their colourful coral gardens and abundant marine life.

Once anchored, you'll be fitted with quality snorkelling equipment along with wetsuits or stinger suits before slipping into the warm tropical waters. Whether it's your first time snorkelling or you're already comfortable in the water, the friendly crew provide guidance and in-water assistance to help you get the most from the experience. Spend up to two hours exploring vibrant coral reefs, spotting tropical fish, turtles and other fascinating marine life that call the Great Barrier Reef home.
