From the moment you step aboard, the focus is on comfort and relaxation. Unlike traditional sailing vessels with tilted decks and ropes underfoot, ‘Sundowner’ has a spacious, flat deck with plenty of room to move around, making it suitable for guests of all ages; even heels are no problem. 

The cruise follows a scenic route around Pioneer Bay, passing landmarks including Mandalay Point, Cannonvale Beach and Turtle Bay, where turtles are often spotted. As the sun begins to set, you'll enjoy uninterrupted views of the changing colours of the coastline. As you return, you’ll see the Airlie Beach Hill begin to glow as the town lights come on. 

You’re welcomed with a glass of Australian Sparkling (or a non-alcoholic alternative), accompanied by a shared antipasto platter of Ritz crackers, French onion dip, gluten-free pork kabana, carrot and celery sticks, olives and sun-dried tomatoes. If you'd like more drinks, you can purchase them from the bar onboard. With just 38 guests on board, the ambience stays relaxed and friendly, naturally shifting from laid-back sunset tunes to singalong classics as the evening unfolds.
