Full Day Moore Reef Cruise
Swim & snorkel amidst the marine wonders and learn about diverse ecosystem of Outer Great Barrier Reef with a myriad of water activities!
The main attraction of this Great Barrier Reef cruise tour is the Moore Reef pontoon. Sit back, relax, soak up some tropical rays & chill out with your friends on the upper level sundeck. Home to the only waterslide on the reef, this theme-style pontoon is popular among kids too. Swirl from the sun deck on a water slide, 8ms down into the tropical ocean or simply dive into the pristine waters !
Walk down the stairs of the pontoon to find an underwater observatory. This natural 'fish tank' set with theatre-style seating lets you spot many rare marine creatures like red bass, giant trevally, barbed butterfly fish, angelfish, goatfish and more!
Take part in a 20-min semi-submersible tour and explore stunning coral gardens and magnificent marine life. Get up-close views at a depth of 8-10 metres underwater and spot many marine creatures like green sea turtles, spotted rays and even the occasional reef shark!
Next attraction of the pontoon is a glass bottom boat tour. See the Great Barrier Reef without getting wet in an open-air glass bottom boat. Identify various corals, fishes, giant clams, anemones and more with the help of expert guides.
The pontoon also features a fish feeding session. Spot colourful fish such as yellowtail fusiliers, blue tailed garfish and angel fish. If you’re lucky, the local Moore Reef celebrity, Wally the Maori wrasse, may even make an appearance!
Have you ever seen a sea cucumber or a pineapple sea cucumber? Take part in a touch tank presentation, where you will see & touch a variety of marine critters who call Moore Reef home. The marine biologist also educate you on the habitat, diet and other interesting facts of these amazing sea creatures.
A whopping 300 square metres of designated snorkel area awaits you next!
Featuring pristine hard and soft corals and home to hundreds of marine life species, this area is perfect to explore what the outer Great Barrier Reef has to offer. Dive into the shallow depths and spot dozens of colourful yellowtail fusiliers, giant clams, parrot fish and more. All gear will be provided and you can opt for a guided snorkel tour (additional charges apply) if you are not confident of snorkelling alone.
This Great Barrier Reef day tour also includes tropical buffet lunch, tea & coffee (while docked) and two-way transfers to Moore Reef on an air-conditioned catamaran.
